Fuel - cars are supplied full and the car is to be returned full.
Waivable Insurance Excess (Deposit):
Groups A, B, B1, C Euros 600
Groups D, E, I, J Euros 1200
Groups G, F, H, N Euros 1800
Groups K, K1, K2, K3, L, M, V Euros 2500
This excess can be reduced to nil by opting to take the excess waiver, see below under Optional Extras, we strongly recommend that you consider it.
Airport tax of 20 euro in not included in the total price for the Lisbon airport & Porto airport in Portugal and Funchal Airport & Porto Santo Airport in Madeira.

Is there an excess waiver available for the Auto Jardim Car Hire ? |
|

Insurance excess waiver is available at the car rental desk on pick-up at a cost of :
€ 8,50 PER DAY FOR GROUPS A, B, and C,
€ 10,00 PER DAY FOR GROUPS D, E, I and J,
€ 15,00 FOR GROUPS F, G, H and N, AND
€ 20,00 FOR THE REMAINING GROUPS.
This reduces your excess liability (deposit) described above.

Do I need an Insurance for Spain trips? |

Green Card insurance to take the car into Spain - Groups A-D Euros 40, Groups E-J Euros 50 and Groups K-V Euros 75, all payable locally.

Can I use Friends Card ? |

The Friends Card will give you 5% discount and if you book online at www.autocarhire.net you have 20% discount.

There is any Young Driver fee? |
|
| |
Under age driver surcharge for ages 21 to 25 - Euro 4.00 per day.
You have to be at least 21 years old to rent a car.

All Auto Jardim offices are opened on Sunday and Saturday.

Can I pick up a car from one location and return it to another location? |

Yes you can. Simply specify on the booking form where and when you would like the car delivered/picked up.

Yes but this person will need to be mentioned on the rental agreement.

How can I avoid paying the excess bail for the hire car? |
|
| |
To avoid paying the excess bail the client can pay a daily insurance fee to eliminate this fee. To do so select the Full/Excess Insurance (also sometimes refered to as SUPER CDW = Collission Damage Waiver) option on the first page.

We don't have a credit card, can we still book and collect one of your cars at Airport? |

Yes, you can pay with cash or credit card on arrival in any Airport in Portugal (Faro, Lisbon and Porto) and Madeira (Funchal and Porto Santo) at Auto Jardim desk located in the car hire area.

Can we extend the rental period based upon the same discount? |

Yes, you can extend the rental period based upon the same discount but you have to call at the Auto Jardim office to confirm the extended period.

What credit cards do you accept for payment? |
|
| |
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express.
Online you don't have to pay with the credit card. You will receive a voucher by email and with this paper you will pay in Auto Jardim office with cash or credit card.

You can find Auto Jardim office in Faro, Lisbon, Porto airport terminal in Portugal in the RENT-A-CAR area.
Also in Funchal and Porto Santo airport terminal in Madeira you can find us in the RENT-A-CAR area as well.

Where I pick-up / drop-off the car in the Airport? |

The pick-up / drop-off of the car is made inside airport area in Portugal and Madeira and not outside.
Our friendly stuff will give you a car key and the exact location where the car is located, inside the airport area.

Does the insurance option cover everything? |
|
| |
There are 2 kind of insurances:
1. excess insurance that cover the damages of the car and in this case you don't have to pay any deposit for the car
2. personal insurance that cover the medical expenses for all the people in the car
In case you plan to go in Spain there is an extra insurance for that.

The office in Lisbon city it is open from 8am - 20pm on Sunday.

The offices in the airport are closed on 25th December and 1st January and on 24th December and 31st December the offices are open until 7 pm.

Opening times of the Porto City and Lisbon City branches? |

Just Lisbon city are open on Sundays. Are open all the week from 8.30 until 20.00
At Porto city, Monday till Friday we open at 09.00 and close at 19.00. On Saturday is open from 09.00 till 13.00.
It closed on Sundays and holidays.

The car can it be delivered to my hotel rather than me coming to the office? |

Yes, that it is possible, if the delivery hours is during the office working time (9 AM until 7 PM).
When you do the booking online on the second page after the city name, write the exact location where you want the car to be delivered.
